Gabriel Gurméndez Armand-Ugon (* 1960 in Uruguay) is a Uruguayan politician .

Gurméndez headed the Consorcio Aeropuertos Internacionales SA as chairman of the board at least in 1997 . He was President and CEO of the state telecommunications company ANTEL, as well as executive chairman of the state railroad company AFE , the oil company ANCAP and the water company OSE . He was a member of Jorge Batlle's cabinet and headed the Ministry of Transport and Public Works from July 15, 2004 to November 24, 2004 . Since December 2004 he has been the director of Cancun Airport.
