Gabriel cultivation bar
Gabriel Zuchtriegel (* 1981 in Weingarten ) is a German and, since 2020, Italian classical archaeologist .
Life
Gabriel Zuchtriegel studied from 2001 to 2006 at the Humboldt University in Berlin Classical Archeology up to a Magister. In 2010 he was at the University of Bonn in Martin Bentz with a dissertation on excavations in Gabii doctorate , for which he the 2010/11 travel grant of the German Archaeological Institute received. Zuchtriegel, who participated or led excavations in Gabii, Selinunt and Siris - Herakleia , has been working as a lecturer at the Università degli Studi della Basilicata since 2014 . In 2015 he was appointed director of the Parco Archeologico di Paestum e Velia and the associated museum . His contract was extended in 2019 for a further four-year mandate.
