Gabriella Pallotta

Gabriella Pallotta (born October 6, 1938 in Rome ) is an Italian actress who starred in over twenty Italian and American film productions from 1956 to 1977 .

Life

Gabriella Pallotta was born in Rome on October 6, 1938. After graduating from high school, she applied for the role of Luisa in Das Dach in 1956 and was able to prevail among all applicants. This lead role made Pallotta a popular actress in Italy, who appeared in a total of 22 films over the next 21 years, including several US productions. In her home country Pallotta was seen as Edera in Der Schrei in 1957 .

Pallotta was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her acting performances as Rosalba Massimo in It Started in Rome in 1962 . Supporting roles in films like The Bible and Just a Woman on Board followed . After she last played mainly in television films and series, Pallotta ended her acting career in 1977.
