Gaius Attius Alfianus Lucilius Ruga

Gaius Attius Alfianus Lucilius Ruga (full name form Gaius Attius Gai filius Poblilia Alfianus Lucilius Ruga ) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

An inscription that was found near Verona and which is dated 101/200 shows that Alfianus was prefect of a Cohors II Raetorum . Alfianus was inscribed in the tribe of Poblilia .

  2. There were two units with this designation (see Cohors II Raetorum ). The inscription does not reveal which unit Alfianus commanded.
