Gaius Cornelius Vessonianus

Gaius Cornelius Vessonianus was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

A military diploma dated January 15, 142, proves that Vessonianus 142 was the commander of the Ala Antiana Gallorum et Thracum , which was stationed in the province of Syria Palestine at that time . Vessonianus came from Vercellae, today's Vercelli .
