Gaius Pompey Saturninus

Gaius Pompeius Saturninus (full name form Gaius Pompeius Marci filius Saturninus ) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

A dedicatory inscription that was found at the Gabrosentum fort and which is dated to 122/200, proves that Saturninus was prefect of the Cohors II Lingonum , which was stationed in the province of Britannia .
