Galatian Low

The Galatheatief is a deep sea in the western part of the Pacific Ocean (Pacific) and with 10,540 m depth the deepest point of the Philippines Trench . In 1951, the crew of the Danish research vessel Galathea found this depth, which has since been referred to as the Galathea Deep.
