The producer gallery plan.d. is a non-profit artist association based in Düsseldorf.

Foundation and profile

Founded in 1998 by ten master students from the Düsseldorf Art Academy , the exhibition program encompasses all styles of contemporary visual art . The concept and program are essentially based on the idea of ​​exchange and cooperation. The exhibitions are organized in close cooperation with artists from Germany and other countries. plan.d. maintains international contacts with artists in England, Finland, France, Japan, Korea, Holland, Norway, Poland and Sweden. Over the course of time, more than 100 themed exhibitions have been realized.

The gallery is mainly financed by membership fees, sponsors and the cultural office of the city of Düsseldorf.

Plan.d. moved from Erkrather Strasse. In early 2006 to new premises at the Dorotheenstraße in Düsseldorf district Flingern . The total area of ​​the gallery is approx. 150 square meters. Four rooms, including a catacomb , are available for exhibitions and projects.
