The Gallun Canal is a waterway in Brandenburg. It connects the Motzener See with the Notte near Mittenwalde over a length of 4 km .

history

The expansion of the Galluner river into a canal took place in the middle of the 19th century. Its economic importance consisted primarily as a transport route for the stones from the three brickworks from Motzen and the five brickworks from Kallinchen via the canalized Notte zur Dahme and thus to Berlin.

Waterway

The diving depth is given as 0.90 m. Like the Motzener See, the Gallun Canal is closed to motorized boats.
