The Gambia Golf Association (GGA) ( German  Gambian Golf Association ) is the umbrella organization for golf in the West African state of Gambia and organizes golf tournaments. The seat of the association is in Bakau .

Ebrima Jawara , son of the former President Dawda Jawara , is president of the association.

history

The Gambia Golf Association itself was founded in 2009, the predecessor organization Gambia Golf Federation (GGF) was founded in the mid-1970s. The Gambia Professional and Amateur Golfers Association, founded in 1999, was dissolved by its members in 2009.

GGA joined The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews (R&A) as the 127th member at the end of 2010 .
