Gandhi Peace Prize
The International Gandhi Peace Prize (original: International Gandhi Peace Prize ), named after Mahatma Gandhi , is an Indian state prize.
It has been awarded annually by the Indian government since 1995 to persons or organizations who have made a name for themselves through their outstanding work and contributions to social, economic or political transformation processes through non-violence and other Gandhian means. The prize money is 10 million (1 crore ) Indian rupees .
