Gaphor is a free UML tool . It is written in the Python language and is therefore platform-independent .
Gaphor is based on the UML 2.0 data model. It supports class diagram , activity diagram , use case diagram , interaction diagram , component diagram and most model elements in UML. The graphical representation is based on Gaphas with GTK + , which is also free software (LGPL). Gaphor uses several layers and thus allows further graphical display options. It allows information to be reused between diagrams. If, for example, an attribute is added, then the addition to the attributes is also added to other relevant diagrams.
