Garcin Syndrome

The Garcin syndrome (also: Guillain-Garcin syndrome , half basis syndrome ) is a neurological disorder it in a one-sided paralysis of the cranial base comes. The cranial nerves V-XII are affected , although cranial nerves I-V are rarely listed in the specialist literature. The cause is inflammatory processes or tumors (for example epipharyngeal tumors , Ewing's bone sarcoma, basal meningitis) in half of the base of the skull.
