Garlock Fault

The Garlock Fault ( English Garlock Fault ) is a fault of about 250 km in length in the west of the Mojave Desert .

It begins at the San Andreas Fault on Mount Gorman and runs east along Frazier Park and Mojave and ends at Salt Springs . The total displacement is 30 km.

Four major earthquakes occurred between 2000 and 500 years ago.
