Garoto (children's coffee)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Garoto is a Portuguese coffee variant for children and named after the Portuguese word for "boy". The “light espresso” is drawn from the espresso set that has already been used as a new espresso, filled with warm milk and served in an espresso cup.

In northern Portugal, "Garoto" is also called "Pingo" (not to be confused with "Café pingado").

However, this drink is becoming increasingly less important.
