Gary Bolstad
Gary Bolstad (born October 6, 1944 in Oteen , North Carolina , USA ) is an American veterinarian and musician.
Gary Bolstad studied in West Berlin in the 1960s and 1970s . There he got to know Hannes Wader and this friendship later resulted in the song Today here, tomorrow there . The music was composed by Bolstad as a song for his future wife Kristi (under the title Indian Summer ) and the German text was written by Hannes Wader. The German text was later translated into English by Bolstad as Day to Day .
In recent years, Gary Bolstad has also played with two other musicians, Tom Draughon and Ron Hulsebus, in the Indian Summer folk group . Her first CD Aftermath was composed as a mixture of folk songs by Bolstad, Draughon and Hulsebus and was released in 2005.
