Gary McGraw
Gary McGraw (born February 25, 1966 in Miami ) is an IT security expert and author of numerous books and publications on the subject of secure software. His main job is the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of the consulting firm Cigital Inc.
Life
Gary McGraw is on the Board of Directors of the Indiana University School of Informatics . He was also a long member of the board of the IEEE Computer Society , where he produces the monthly Silver Bullet Security Podcast for the IEEE Security & Privacy Magazine. He also sits on the advisory boards of various companies, including Dasient, Fortify Software, Invincea and White Raven.
McGraw holds a PhD in Cognitive Science and Computer Science from Indiana University . He is married and lives in Virginia with his wife and two sons.
