Gastón Palacios , full name Gastón Javier Palacios Baleirón , (born December 26, 1997 in Uruguay ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
The 1.70-meter-tall offensive player Palacios has been part of the squad of the first division club Atlético Rentistas since the 2015 Clausura . With the Montevideeans he made his debut under coach Manuel Keosseián on April 12, 2015 in the 1-1 draw against the Montevideo Wanderers in the Primera División , when he came on in the 46th minute for Luis M. De los Santos . In the 2014/15 season he played in a total of three top division games (no goal). No further premier league appearances followed. At the end of January 2016, he was loaned to the second division Club Atlético Progreso , where he played 13 times (three goals) in the league in 2016. He then returned to Club Atlético Rentistas, now relegated to the second division, and played nine league games (one goal) in the 2016 season.
