Gasthof zur Krone (Pfaffenhausen)
The listed Gasthof zur Krone in Pfaffenhausen at Hauptstrasse 23 in the Unterallgäu district , Bavaria , dates from the 18th century. The two-storey building has a profiled Traufgesims and has a gable roof covered. The south side, while the main front of the building consists of 9 window axes on profiled Sohlbänken . The remains of the wall paintings around the windows on the east side of the inn date from the 18th century. A paneled wooden ceiling with a middle tail field is located in the dining room.
Behind the inn is a free-standing barn belonging to the inn from the mid-18th century. The east gable of the barn contains half-timbering . It consists of three floors in total, of which the two lower floors are divided into three zones each. These are intersected by vertical struts and collar posts with 2/3 wall-high foot struts. A total of four light openings are available on the lower floor, two of which are curved and round.
