Gaston Paris (photographer)

Gaston Paris ( 1903 - 1964 ) was a French photographer.

He was self-taught and documented life in Paris as a reporter mainly in the 1930s . His subjects ranged from portraits of celebrities like Edith Piaf and the dancers of the Folies Bergère to steel structures. Many of his pictures appeared in the magazine VU . After the Second World War he reported from occupied Germany and Austria.
