Gateway Worship is an American worship band from Texas , which is responsible for the organization of the service in the Texas' Gateway Church in Southlake .
biography
The non-denominational church was founded in April 2000. Some graduates of the Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas took over the service in terms of content and music. In a short time, the Gateway Church's popularity grew tremendously. Around 5,000 believers attended the Easter service in 2004, and over 20,000 attended Easter 2010.
From 2003 the group began to record and publish their worship music. In 2008 they had their first big success beyond their region of origin. The service recording of Wake Up the World was a hit in the US Christian album charts and was ranked second Then they came in 2010 with the albums The More I Seek You and God Be Praised even in the album sales charts .
The most prominent member of Gateway Worship is Kari Jobe , who came to Dallas in 2006 and is also successful as a solo musician.
