Gazprom Germania

The Gazprom Germania GmbH is a subsidiary of Gazprom Export of Russian gas company Gazprom , based in Berlin . It markets natural gas from Russia and Central Asia in Germany and Western Europe.

Gazprom Germania emerged from a cooperation between the former V / O Zarubezhgaz (today Gazprom) and the BASF subsidiary Wintershall in 1990. Gazprom Germania has a 49.98 percent stake in Wingas ; Wintershall holds the remaining 50.02 percent. In November 2012, BASF and Gazprom announced that Gazprom's stake should be increased to 100% by the end of 2013.

From July 1, 2010 to May 31, 2011, the General Manager was the former Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Federal Republic of Germany, Vladimir Kotenjow . Mikhail L. Sereda and Nikolai N. Dubik have been managing directors since September 19, 2016. Gazprom Germania has around 520 employees in Germany, around 200 of them in Berlin.

In 2012, Gazprom Germania posted sales of 12.5 billion euros (+27 percent) and an annual profit of 236.4 million euros (2011 - 341.4 million euros). The company founded ZMB GmbH on June 28, 1993 to market natural gas. In 2007, ZMB had a turnover of 1,774 million euros (2006 - 1,764 million euros) and marketed natural gas in the order of 16.0 billion cubic meters. With effect from January 1, 2009, ZMB was merged with Gazprom Germania.
