Insurance for new buildings

The building construction insurance , and construction insurance , is a private insurance , which the builders to hedge against certain risks associated with an under construction building. It usually consists of a builder's liability insurance , construction insurance and fire shell insurance .

Risk coverage

The client is responsible for all activities and events on their own construction site. By taking out insurance for a new building, the builder can protect himself from some of the risks on the construction site. In addition to accidents, these also include storms, fire and vandalism .

The insurance premium depends, among other things, on the risk zone in which the building is located in terms of flood and storm risks. Further influencing factors are the type of construction of the building, the amount of the new building and the agreed sum insured.

As a rule, the new building insurance applies from the start of construction and ends when you move into the building.
