The building cleaning guild Berlin is a corporation under public law . Your area of responsibility includes the federal state of Berlin . Here the guild acts as a representative of the interests of the building cleaning trade.

history

Its predecessors, the “Free Association of Independent Window Cleaners in Berlin and the Surrounding Area” and the VRUD “Cleaning Institute Entrepreneurs” were founded in 1901. In 1924 the Berlin branch of the VRUD was converted into a guild before both professional organizations were forcibly merged in 1933 under the rule of National Socialism . After the Second World War and the previous dissolution of all German building cleaning guilds, the organizations were re-established throughout Germany in 1948/49. This is also the case in Berlin . By recognizing the cleaners -Handwerks as full-crafts by the German Bundestag in 1953, the Berlin guild was legitimized by law. With the fall of the Berlin Wall and in the course of German reunification , there has only been one guild for the building cleaning trade in Berlin since 1990. The building cleaning guild of Berlin moves to the eastern part of the city to Prenzlauer Berg and on May 1, 1990 enforces a uniform collective agreement for all employees with the same wages for East and West Berlin. With the amendment of the craft regulations in 2004, building cleaning is a non-registered craft trade. In addition to the compulsory master craftsman's entry in the trade register , the compulsory membership in the building cleaners guild Berlin is no longer required.
