Blinded in Gaza (original title: English Eyeless in Gaza ) is a bestselling novel by Aldous Huxley , which was first published in 1936.

The novel is about the life of the celebrity Anthony Beavis. It tells of four periods in Beavis 'life, from childhood in the 1890s to 1936. The novel describes Beavis' life as he progressed through school, college and love life as he "explores" the meaningless life of the upper class . The novel shows Beavis' gradual disillusionment with the upper class caused by a friend's suicide. At this point he begins to look for the meaning of life that he discovers in pacifism and mysticism .
