The Gebrüder-Wehrmann-Schanzen are several ski jumping hills in Bavaria and are located in Warmensteinach . In the state performance center there are two smaller ones of the categories K 22, K 42.5, a medium hill of the category K 67 and a normal hill of the category K 90. The K 90 hill is the largest in northern Bavaria.
history
The first ski jump has been in Warmensteinach since 1911, was called Schanze am Hängweg and later renamed Gebrüder-Wehrmann-Schanze . Between 1949 and 1993, a total of 14 Bavarian, nine German Nordic ski championships and four major international events took place in Warmensteinach. Because of the Nordic Youth Championships in 1988, the K 90 hill was rebuilt. In 2007 the K 22 ski jump was renovated and inaugurated on October 3rd, 2007. Only the jumps K 22 and K 42.5 are covered with plastic mattings. Due to the lack of safety equipment, the K 90 hill is currently not used.
