from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

State performance centers are institutions for high-performance sport in the federal states in Germany and in the federal states in Austria .

Mark

Germany

The state performance centers are separately funded sports and training facilities for young athletes. They are determined by the respective state committee of competitive sports of a state sports association ( Baden-Württemberg , Bavaria , Berlin , Brandenburg , Bremen , Hamburg , Hesse , Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , Lower Saxony , North Rhine-Westphalia , Rhineland-Palatinate , Saarland , Saxony , Saxony-Anhalt , Schleswig- Holstein and Thuringia ) approved. Among other things, the federal states support expenses for the operation and use of the facilities.

In addition to the federal support points , the federal performance centers and Olympic support points , they are a structural element within the support system of top-class German sports.

Austria

The state performance centers (also sports performance centers ) are, alongside the federal performance centers and Olympic centers, a structural element within top-class Austrian sport. There are also army and university sports centers in Austria.
