The Landessportbund Sachsen is the umbrella organization for organized sport in Saxony and as such a member of the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB). It includes sports clubs , regional professional associations, city and district sports federations as well as other sports institutions and was founded on September 29, 1990 in Dresden .
Ulrich Franzen is president of the State Sports Association of Saxony. The office is located in Leipzig .
