Thuringian Swimming Association

The Thuringian Swimming Association (TSV for short) has around 5700 members in 49 clubs. The TSV is a full member of the German Swimming Association (DSV) and an extraordinary member of the Landessportbund Thüringen eV (LSB). The TSV is based in Erfurt .

history

The Thuringian Swimming Association e. V. (TSV) was re-established as an amateur sports association on July 14, 1990 in Erfurt. It is the amalgamation of clubs that practice swimming and that belong to the Landessportbund Thuringia .

The TSV belongs in the swimming division to the regional group association of the South German Swimming Association, and in the water polo division to the eastern regional group of the German Swimming Association . At the national level, it reports to the German Swimming Association, at the European level to the Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN) and at the global level to the Fédération Internationale de Natation (FINA).
