The Swimming Association of North Rhine-Westphalia (SV NRW) is the sports association for swimming in North Rhine-Westphalia . More than 220,000 members are organized in around 600 clubs . It is by far the largest regional association within the German Swimming Association and at the same time one of the largest sports organizations in North Rhine-Westphalia

Sports are swimming, water polo , water jumping , synchronized swimming in the respective disciplines.

The specialist area of ​​popular, leisure and health sports includes the sports of aqua fitness, aqua jogging, aqua power, water aerobics, beginners' swimming, senior swimming, health swimming, and taking swimming badges. The youth work area includes support for young people and youth education work.

The sporting and non-sporting educational work includes the education and training of exercise instructors and trainers. This also includes the training of youth leaders and special courses in swimming.
