The Nordwestdeutsche Schützenbund eV (NWDSB) is an umbrella organization for sport shooters in Northwest Germany.

The association is one of the two associations in Lower Saxony and a direct member of the German Shooting Association ; it also recorded the shooters of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen . The association has around 134,000 members from 986 different shooting clubs (statistics of the German Shooting Association from December 31, 2013).

The NWDSB was founded on January 14, 1951. The seat was initially in Bremen . However, since 1965 it has been Bassum where both the office and the new state performance center of the association, which is under construction, are located. The Northwest German Rifle Day takes place annually, a delegate day that represents the highest body of the association. This is also where the ten-person presidium that heads the association is elected.

In terms of sport, the association is led by Volker Kächele, long-time sports manager, trainer and international referee. Archery is represented by archery manager Axel Heemann.
