The North German Schützenbund from 1860 e. V. ( NDSB ) is a professional association for sport shooting in Schleswig-Holstein based in Kiel .

The superordinate association is the German Schützenbund .

history

It was founded in Rendsburg on August 20, 1860 and re-established in Rendsburg on December 10, 1952.

task

The purpose of the North German Schützenbund is to bring the associations that practice shooting sports in the state of Schleswig-Holstein together on a voluntary basis while maintaining their independence, to maintain shooting sports according to the guidelines of the superordinate professional association and to promote and operate competitive, popular and recreational sports to cultivate and preserve tradition and rifle customs as part of popular life and to promote sporting and general youth work.
