Geertje soils (* 3. August 1985 in East Berlin ) is a German musical theater - director and writer .

Life

Born into a family of actors, at the age of twelve she got the continuous role of student Antje van Rheeden in the KiKA series Schloss Einstein , which she embodied from the first season from 1998 to 2001. Then Boeden studied theater studies from 2005 to 2009 at the Free University of Berlin . In 2017 she made another cameo as a thief in episode 887 of the series .

During her studies she started working as an assistant director for the British director David Pountney , with whom she has worked for many years. New productions, new productions, symposia and stage takeovers have taken her from the Ruhrtriennale to the Bregenz Festival, the Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona, ​​the Teatr Wielki Warszawa (where she herself embodied the female lead on stage) and the Lincoln Center Festival New York. Her premiere as an author and director in personal union at the Gerhart Hauptmann-Theater (GHT) Görlitz followed in February 2019 with greetings from Muskau , a self-composed music theater evening about the amorous machinations of Hermann Fürst von Pückler-Muskau and the secret of eternal love. After staging the Magic Flute (WA Mozart) at the Oder-Spree Opera in summer 2019, also with self-written dialogues, Boeden returned to GHT Görlitz in October / November 2019 as director for the Opéra comique Dinorah von Meyerbeer. In December 2019, her new piece Ein Waldmärchen was performed at the Philharmonie Luxembourg.
