As Dangerous situations are called the gliding one of the flight instructor controlled glider in which he the student pilot several critical flight conditions demonstrated ( coating , lubrication in the steep turn , strong loss of height, wind shear , disorientation, spin , etc.) and shows him the zielführendsten measures to address them.

The briefing usually takes place towards the end of the flight course, shortly before the final exam. The trainee pilot has already theoretically got to know the critical flight conditions and some more harmless ones shortly before the solo flight permit.
