Hazardous substance law
In the broadest sense is meant by hazardous substances , the totality of all regulations that are designed to protect people and the environment from dangerous substances.
A distinction is made between general law on hazardous substances ( chemical laws in the sense of the term and its ordinances) and special law on hazardous substances , which includes plant protection law , fertilizer law , feed law , food law , pharmaceutical law and animal disease law .

EU
- Directive 96/82 / EC on the control of the dangers of major accidents with dangerous substances ( Seveso II Directive ), regarding environmental protection in connection with the production facilities
- Directive 1999/45 / EC on packaging and labeling of dangerous preparations ( preparation directive) The directive is no longer in force due to the following regulation.
- Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 (CLP) on classification, labeling and packaging of substances and mixtures ( CLP regulation )
- EC Directive 2011/65 / EU on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment ( RoHS Directive )
