Shot reverse shot (engl. Shot reverse shot ) is a technique of the film section . It is used to describe a sequence of settings that is particularly common in dialogue situations. The actors are shown alternately during their dialogue. This is how actor A speaks ("shot"), then actor B's reaction is shown ("reverse shot"). The camera only moves on one side of the dialog axis .
