Geisterfänger was a series of horror novels from the Kelter Verlag , which consisted of reprints of well-known texts.

The series of novels had been heralded as ghost hunters ; the title was changed shortly before publication. The series published twenty-four issues from March 7, 2006 to January 23, 2007; all volumes were reprints.

The publication policy aroused criticism. In addition to the individual novels from other series such as ghost crime thriller (3 volumes), vampire horror novel (2 volumes) and ghost crime thriller (18 volumes), sub-series were also reissued regardless of their order. Only one volume was published from the Ralf Arius sub-series - the originally fourth. In addition, only the second part of a two-part series from the vampire horror novel was published.

Some of the authors were given their best-known pseudonyms instead of the one previously used by Kelter Verlag (for example AF Morland instead of Edgar Tarbot ).
