introduction

In addition to well-known authors such as Friedrich Tenkrat (Edgar Tarbot), Uwe Anton ( Henry Quinn ), Kurt Brand (János Vèreb) and Martin Eisele (Mike Burger), many authors contributed who were hardly or not at all represented by other publishers. With Gudrun Voigt , one of the very few women who dedicated herself to this genre also wrote; the others were Traute Mahn and Susanne Wiemer (these mainly in ghost thriller and with Professor Zamorra , but never in ghost thriller).

Noteworthy sub-series

Mark Tate by WA Hary ( Wilfried A. Hary )
The Forlongs from No. 117 were latertaken overinto the Mark Tate sub-series. Several years later, Mark Tate got his own series of reprints, which were continued slightly revised after the hiring of authors from his own publishing house. New novels were also published.

Rick Masters by Andrew Hathaway ( Richard Wunderer )
Rick Masters was the most important and longest running sub-series of the ghost crime thriller that began with a Rick Masters novel and ended with one.

Ghost Crime, 2nd edition

General

  • A total of 30 issues were published from 1990 to 1992.
  • The second edition only got a few new cover pictures. Most of the booklets received cover pictures from the publisher's stock, and some of the old cover pictures were reused.
  • The texts were printed as they were, including old misprints.
  • Volume 6 was noticeable through extremely thin paper, so that the volume was only about 2/3 the usual thickness of a booklet.
  • The reprint was not in the original order.

  • 2 issues were published (26 & 28).

Ghost Crime (3rd Edition)

On November 3, 2015, the Kelter Verlag brought the issue series to the market once again on a weekly basis with a new logo and new cover images. As in the 2nd edition, this reprint is not based on the original order. For the first time, the series is also being offered as an e-book. Novels from sub-series were not published. The series ended at the kiosk with volume 16, as an e-book with volume 18.
