Uwe Anton (born September 5, 1956 in Remscheid ) is a German science fiction writer and translator .

In 1979 he wrote the novel Zeit der Stasis together with Thomas Ziegler , and in 1985 the two authors published the joint novel Erdstadt .

For Carlsen Verlag , he translated comics, including Batman - The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller and other stories from Batman . He has also translated novels by Dean R. Koontz and David Baldacci into German and published non-fiction books on Stephen King , AE van Vogt and Philip K. Dick .

He was best known for his work on the Perry Rhodan magazine series . He wrote his first Perry Rhodan novel, Die Solmothen , in 1998. From volume 2505 he took over the design of the exposé of the series by the seriously ill Robert Feldhoff , which he returned after volume 2699.

In 1980 Anton received an entry under his pseudonym LD Palmer in the Hans Joachim Alpers u. a. Edited Lexicon of Science Fiction Literature . A likeness of Raymond A. Palmer , who had already died at this point, was accidentally used for Anton .
