Gekidnappt (English: Shanghaied) is a silent film comedy by and with Charles Chaplin from 1915.

A shipowner wants to sink his ship on one final voyage in order to collect money from the insurance company. Charlie, a tramp who is in love with the daughter of the shipowner, is supposed to serve as seafarers for this company in Shanghai, and in the end he too is involuntarily carried on board. Desperate about her father's forbidden love for Charlie, the daughter goes on board as a stowaway without knowing that Charlie is there. Meanwhile, Charlie helps out in the galley and tries to serve the food during a storm.
