The all-terrain multi-purpose device 2-70 (GMG 2-70) is a vehicle from VEB Industriewerk Halle / Nord, Kombinat Baukema.

The all-terrain multi-purpose device 2-70 was intended for use in the National People's Army of the GDR . It was suitable for loading and unloading all kinds of transport goods under stationary and especially field-like conditions. The GMG 2-70 was used in equipment stores and division stores of the NVA. In the field, the GMG 2-70 could be used as a transport and lifting device for assembly and disassembly as well as for all repairs up to and including division workshops. The GMG 2-70 could carry additional accessories in a single-axle trailer. This included a crane arm, a dump bucket, a barrel clamp, a carrying mandrel, a work platform, a dozer blade, a fork extension and a telescopic mast. The vehicle also had a winch for recovering vehicles.

The GMG 2-70 is a simple 2 ton front load all-terrain forklift. The vehicle consists of parts of the Robur LO 1801 A truck , the front mast came from a 3.2-ton forklift from the TAKRAF combine .

From 1987 the GMG 2-70 was replaced by the GMG 2.5 as the successor vehicle.
