The Geldern Whitsun Fair in Geldern am Niederrhein is the largest Whitsun fair on the Lower Rhine.
The Whitsun fair extends from the north wall to the end of the east wall in Geldern.

It traditionally takes place every year on Pentecost, for 4 days, from a Saturday to a Tuesday. The Whitsun fair is initiated on Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. by the march of the marching band to the fair market. Subsequently, the open mayor the fair with keg tapping and free drinks. Tuesday is traditionally the family day, on which there are reduced prices from the opening until 6 p.m. and ends at 11 p.m. with a fireworks display . Every year the fair with around 160 showmen records up to 250,000 visitors from North Rhine-Westphalia and the neighboring Netherlands .
Traditions
Every year the fair starts after the introduction of the star march at 2:30 p.m. by a barrel stitch.
