Gema Jurkūnaitė
Gema Jurkūnaitė (born February 26, 1945 in Kruciai , Mažeikiai district ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduation with honors in 1962 at the middle school Tirkšliai she graduated in 1967, the diploma program of the Lithuanian language and literature at the Vilniaus universitetas and 1972 postgraduate at the Department of Philosophy at the VU. From 1967 she taught at the Kaunas Faculty of the VU as a lecturer. From 1992 to 1996 she was a member of the Seimas . From 1997 she taught at Vilniaus technikos kolegija .
From 1967 she was a member of Lietuvos komunistų partija , from 1990 of the LDDP and from 2001 to 2005 of the LSDP .
