Community letter - magazine for public relations
Gemeindebrief - magazine for public relations has been published since 1970 (until 2004 as "Material and Design Aid Der Gemeindebrief"). It offers reprint material for community journalism and a magazine section with reports, service topics and tips for community public relations . The magazine is published by the joint venture of Protestant journalism in Frankfurt am Main .
In addition to the magazine, the offer also includes a comprehensive image and text database and a CD-ROM library.
Subscribers to the magazine are around 50% of the German Protestant parishes who use the material to create their own parish materials. Community letters have a circulation of around 11 million across Germany. A community letter is issued in around 80% of the Protestant communities. The publications, which often appear 4 to 6 times a year, reach 80% of the Protestant church members. Around 30,000 employees work on the expenses.
