The village clerk is in a political community in Switzerland the head of administration and that commercial employee who bears the main administrative responsibility. Depending on the size and organization of the community, the profession of " clerk " includes the whole spectrum from clerk to administrative director. He takes minutes during the meetings of the municipal council and the municipal assemblies .
