Hans-Dieter Schöne

Hans-Dieter Schöne (born December 22, 1942 in Kamenz ) is a German organist and church music director .

Life

Schöne grew up in Kamenz and Dresden . From 1963 to 1968 he completed an organist training at the church music schools in Dresden (B-exam) and in Halle (A-exam). He then studied piano pedagogy at the "Carl Maria von Weber" University of Music in Dresden until 1975 .

At the same time, Schöne began working as a cantor in Werdau in 1968 . In 1980 he was appointed church music director. Since 1984 he has been teaching organ literature as a lecturer at the Dresden University of Church Music . In 1990 he was appointed to the Apostle Church in Dresden- Trachau and was responsible for the area of Dresden-Mitte as church music director . Numerous concert tours have taken him to Germany and abroad as a soloist and accompanist for the Dresden Kreuzchor and the Dresden Staatskapelle . At the end of 2006 he retired. Schöne is married and has three sons.
