The non-profit Donau-Ennstaler Siedlungs-Aktiengesellschaft ( GEDESAG ) is a non-profit housing construction company based in Krems an der Donau in Lower Austria . It was founded in 1939 with the aim of building, managing and renovating rental apartments, condominiums, residential complexes and terraced houses and looks after around 10,000 residential units (as of 2015) in 87 municipalities in Lower Austria.
As an award for successful and landscaped building activity, the company was awarded twice the "Golden Trowel", the building award of the state of Lower Austria and the "Builder Award 2004" of the Central Association of Architects of Austria .
