The Central Association of Architects in Austria (ZV) represents the interests of Austrian architects .

It was founded in 1907 by Ludwig Baumann and initially saw itself as a professional organization for freelance architects.

Today the central association has around 700 members, organized in seven regional associations. Your main task is to discuss and develop the architect's profile. It is a cultural association with the aim of working on the content of architecture and urban planning. By working on thematic focal points, the attempt is made to set communication processes in motion, to detect new tendencies and to work on a constantly changing concept of quality in architecture.
