Austrian builder award

The Austrian Client Award is an architecture award given by the Central Association of Architects in Austria to the client . The architecture prize has been awarded annually since 1967, with the exception of 1974, 1977, 1978, 1980 and 1983, when there were no awards.

history

By 1987, 78 projects had been awarded which were shown in an exhibition in the Historical Museum of the City of Vienna in 1988 . Of these, 9 awards went to temporary campaigns, exhibitions or buildings abroad. In the meantime, one structure had already been demolished in 1987. The distribution of the prices in Austria was: Burgenland 2, Lower Austria 11, Upper Austria 5, Salzburg 7, Styria 11, Tyrol 9, Vorarlberg 7, and Vienna 16. The round trip from object to object was almost 5000 km long.
