General Fiasco is a British indie rock band from Magherafelt .

Band history

In 2007 the two Strathern brothers founded the band General Fiasco together with Shane Davey . Davey later left the band and Stephen Leacock joined. With their appearance at the festivals in Reading and Leeds in the summer of 2008, they caught the attention of the music press and so they came to a record deal with Infectious Records . In March 2010 they released their debut album Buildings , with which they made it straight into the UK charts. With the single Ever so Shy they were not only successful in their home country, but also in Japan.
